Getting a flat belly doesn’t have to be hard work. Try these simple exercises and get a super-flat belly in double-quick time.

Flatten that Belly!

We all want a flat belly, right? But living in today’s world, it’s hard to make it happen. After all, there are so many yummy things to eat, and so little time to exercise. We all have busy lives, and it’s not always easy to find a spare hour or two to get down to the gym.

But we need to exercise to burn off all those exercise calories, so what can we do? Don’t panic…we have you covered! Even if you can only spare five minutes out of your busy day, you can do a great workout that will help to flatten your belly. Here’s how:

Easy, right? But there’s more. Here are some more great exercises you can do that are both fun and easy to do. That means you have no excuse for not doing them. So switch the TV off, put your smartphone down and start doing something that will get your tummy in shape before you know it.

Dance Yourself Slim

We’re starting with dancing because this form of exercise is so often forgotten. Yet it fits our criteria perfectly – it’s easy to do, very good for you…and a whole lotta fun! So turn up your favorite music on Spotify and get moving.

There are no specific moves you have to do, because dancing is a great all-round exercise that gets your whole body moving. But it’s a good idea to get your limbs moving as much as you can. Stretch your arms high in the air, kick your legs out and shake that booty!

Skipping

Remember when you were a kid…you did skipping just for fun, right? Well, the good news is that nothing has changed. Skipping is still an enjoyable activity, and it burns a whole lot of calories, too. One of the great things about skipping is that you don’t need much in the way of equipment. Just a skipping rope and…er…nothing else!

The key thing here is to pay a little attention to form. Make sure you stay upright to work your abs muscles as much as you can. If you can still remember how to do criss-crosses, these will work out your stomach muscles in style. Just 10 minutes of exercise will change the way you look in no time.

Playing Frisbee

Why should kids have all the excitement? Grab a friend and head down to the park with a Frisbee and your give yourself a workout while having a whole lot of fun at the same time. This is a great exercise because you work your body all over without even realizing you are doing it.

The action of throwing the Frisbee works your ab muscles, and you get great stretches while reaching out to grab the Frisbee. Here’s a simple tip to get even more out of this exercise. Every day, stand just a little further away from your partner. Then the catches become a little tougher each time, forcing you to work harder and harder to get the catch. But don’t worry, it’s still fun!

Jumping Jacks

Exercises don’t come much simpler than Jumping Jacks. You can do them almost anywhere, and they don’t require any kind of equipment. Yet they give your whole body a great workout that will really help you shape up in no time.

If you do 50 Jumping Jacks a day, you will soon notice a significant improvement in your overall fitness. Remember that the higher you reach, the greater the benefit will be. So stretch those arms and legs and jump yourself into better shape, starting today.

Do the Limbo

Yes, really…this is a great exercise! When you do the limbo, you work muscles in your core that may not get worked by other exercises. You really have to work your abs and the surrounding muscles to do the limbo successfully, so this is really building muscle where you need it, while burning calories, too.

You don’t need any special equipment – a broom handle supported across the back of two chairs will do the job. You may find that you can’t get very low at first. But if you keep doing the limbo daily, you will be surprised at how much more flexible you become.

Hula Hooping

Here’s another childhood game that makes a great exercise for adults, too. If you have kids, you may already have a hula hoop or two lying around the garage. If not, they are easy to come by and won’t bust your budget.

Trampolining

Maybe you already have a trampoline in the back yards for the kids. If not, Trampolining has grown in to a huge hobby and you can easily find trampolines for hire in leisure centers and fitness clubs. This is a fun exercise, for sure…once you have started, you won’t want to get off!

The key here is to give yourself a good all-body workout. Don’t just bounce up and down on your feet – use your whole body with as many different bounces as you can manage. The resistance of the trampoline adds a whole new dimension to exercise and forces you to use your muscles in different ways.

Indoor Rock Climbing

Here’s another fun activity that you can share with all the family. Indoor rock climbing is a lot of fun, and it is an activity you can do all year round.

This activity requires you to really challenge yourself in the way you use your muscles. It’s great for stretching, too, and will help you achieve new heights in your exercise career!

Ballet Lessons

You may not plan on performing on the public stage, but taking ballet lessons is a fun way to improve your fitness. This is a great way to get an all-body workout.

Ballet uses muscles throughout your body to achieve the perfect poses, and gives you a great stretch workout, too. Plus you get to listen to some of the world’s most inspiring music while you dance. Great stuff!

Pole Dancing

I know what you’re thinking. Maybe you associate pole dancing only with – um – ‘exotic’ dancing. But don’t panic. You don’t have to take your clothes off in public to do this. Pole dancing is also becoming very popular as a great exercise option for women.

Pole dancing is great for working the muscles in your abs, arms and legs. And it’s fun, too. If you get really good at it, there is even the option of starting a whole new career…(just kidding!)

Wii Fit

Don’t let your kids dominate the Nintendo. Try playing Wii Fit and you will be amazed at how much fun working out can be. This is something that you really can do in your living room, and the results can be impressive.

You can choose which sport to play, or have guided workouts that show you exactly what to do. You can also personalize your workouts, track your progress and see how many calories you have burned. This really is a great, fun way to get fit.

Fast Track to a Flat Belly

So there you go…a whole bunch of different ways you can stay fit and get the results you want. Start doing some of these now and you will soon see the results in terms of better abs and a flatter belly.

Because these exercises are fun to do, you are much more likely to stick with them. And that makes all the difference. There is no point in planning to workout at the gym six times a week – then giving up after a month. Try these easy exercises instead, and find a fun fitness routine you can stick to.
